Jury Awards Police Officer $1.1 Million for False Arrest.
Loren Cohen won a verdict of $1.1 million in a Federal Civil Rights claim against the City of Hollywood on behalf of a former police officer, against the City of Hollywood. The jury determined that the plaintiff was falsely arrested and falsely charged with sexual battery by City of Hollywood Police Officers, in violation of his constitutional rights.
