Howard S. Toland, a partner focusing on creation, perfection and enforcement of creditor rights for institutional and private clients, was selected as a winner and recipient of the Finance Monthly Legal Award 2021.  The Finance Monthly Legal Awards are designed to identify and celebrate the achievements of lawyers, law firms and those connected to the legal world, who have a proven track record in delivering results for their clients over the past twelve months.   The awards have been developed to celebrate the leaders, innovators and rising stars within the legal profession.

The Selection Process and Criteria follows a four-stage process, which includes editorial nominations, readership voting, shortlisting and the winners’ selection.  Nominations were put forward by the editorial panel for individual lawyers, law firms and businesses, based on the previous 12-18 months activity.  The Finance Monthly readership then votes via the online voting portal.

After applications close, the applicants were shortlisted during a pre-selection process at Finance Monthly Magazine’s headquarters.  Finalists were shortlisted and selected based on (1) Volume of votes received (2)  Impact  (3)  Client recommendations and referrals (4) Innovation (5) Evidence of going above and beyond their call of duty.
