JAMES J. WEBB hails from Syracuse, New York, but grew up in
Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. After a brief stint operating a small
business, he attended the University of Florida, graduating from its
business school with honors and receiving degrees in Finance and
Economics. Mr. Webb went on to attend the University of Florida College
of Law, graduating with honors in 1995. While in law school Mr. Webb
was the recipient of the Book Award for highest exam scores in Torts I,
and in Employment Discrimination. Mr. Webb was invited to join the
Council of Ten where he served as the Teaching Fellow for Torts. Mr.
Webb became a member of the Florida Bar in 1996, and is also a member of
the Broward County Bar Association, and of the Federal Bars for the
Southern and Middle Districts of the State of Florida. During the
course of his advocacy on behalf of creditors Mr. Webb has spearheaded
appeals which resulted in two significant published opinions from the
Fourth District Court of Appeals, cited as leading cases, helping to
clarify and strengthen creditor's rights in the State of Florida. Mr.

equipment lessors, and litigation of claims of exemption. When he is
not practicing law or spending time with his family, Mr. Webb can be
found designing and building furniture or carving in his shop, or
playing keyboards for a local classic rock band.
